Cruel Intentions: The Completely Unauthorized Musical Parody

Have you watched the movie Cruel Intentions? Is it one of your favorite movies? For those who have no idea (or may have forgotten this film), Cruel Intentions is a movie that was released in 1999 and it stars Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Philippe, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Old taxi, cab, and taxicab drivers remember a lot of moviegoers booking rides with them to the movie house just so they watch this one. It was a pretty popular movie during that time.

This year, another version of Cruel Intentions has come and it is not going to the big screen. However, this one has been made into a musical parody. It should be quite a good one and the very first people who made up the audience at the first showing really had a lot of good things to say about it. Held at the Rockwell Table & Stage, the Cruel Intentions: The Completely Unauthorized Musical Parody is a play that you most definitely would want to watch. All you need to do is contact LAYellowCab for a Hollywoodcab, Hollywood taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxi, or Santamonica taxicab to take you there in case you have no idea where the venue is.

Cruel Intentions: The Completely Unauthorized Musical Parody surely is something worth watching, especially if you already have seen the original movie. You would be able to see the differences and the changes made. LAYellowCab, a cab, taxicab, and taxi company popular in the area, would be more than happy to book you a Hollywoodtaxi, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxicab, Santamonica taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, or Hollywoodcab to get you there easily. You can book one right now if you wish to watch as the tickets are selling like hotcakes. But there is no need to feel rushed as the play is set to be performed until July. Tickets are sold from $18 to $45. Play dates for May are 28 and 29. For June, the dates are 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, and 25. The dates for July are 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31.

A musical is always a good thing to watch. Some of the best plays are musicals. Adding to the great flavor would be the parody component. It does take a genius to be able to create something like this and it surely would be something refreshing from the usual stuff that you get to see and experience each and every day. So if you really wish to watch this one, go ahead and check out their site and find the best date for you to enjoy the show. Some would recommend watching the show the soonest time possible so that if you wish to watch it again, you can do so at the later play dates.

During the opening performance, some of the original actors of the movie were there to watch and see how the whole thing goes and what it has to offer. From reviews sent out, it seems like the actors had great fun and a really great time.

Mother's Day Picnic 2015

Mothers work really hard every day taking care of the needs of their family. By celebrating Mother’s day, we are honouring them for all the sacrifices they made for us. This occasion does not only celebrate the motherhood of one’s mother but it also celebrates maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society. Though time and commercialism has changed the real essence of this occasion, Angelenos found a way to celebrate this day with their moms in a simple yet very special way. Last May 9, 2015, a lot of people packed their picnic baskets and participated in the “Mother's Day Picnic 2015” at the Culver West Alexander Park. The fun and cheerful event was initiated by Dragonfly Natural Health to honour and celebrate the contribution of mothers in our community. Participants had fun meeting other Dragonfly families. The park was filled with vigour and mirth. The kids giggled as they jumped in the bounce house. Since joining the event is free of charge, the organizers asked the participants to bring their old maternity or baby clothes or baby items to donate to Baby2Baby.

Some of the families hired the service of LA Yellow Cab to make sure that they will reach Culver West Alexander Park just in time for the potluck lunch. LA Yellow Cab provided fast and comfortable Hollywood taxi and Santa Monica cab for families who attended the Mother’s day picnic. A lot of moms who attended the said event were very pleased with their Hollywood taxicab and Santa Monica taxi services. They are satisfied with LA Yellow Cab’s clean taxi units. Their drivers are very dexterous and gave them a sense of security throughout their trip to the venue. Even those moms who failed to make advance cab reservation were very happy that they got an immediate Hollywood taxi and Santa Monica cab service just by texting their pick up address to (310) 574-2228.

The Mother’s day is a yearly celebration when we can express our love and gratitude for all the love and sacrifices of our mothers. But we don’t have to wait for another year to make feel loved. Here are some random things that you can do to make your mother feel appreciated:

*Give her a random phone only to say ‘I love you’.

*Take her out for a lunch or brunch date.

*Give her a public shout out on Facebook or Twitter.

*Grab a piece of stationary out of your desk and write your mom a handwritten note.

*Make a meal for her.

*Nothing makes a mom feel more special than her children remembering her birthday or anniversary.

Transforming Hollywood 6: Alternative Realities, World Building and Immersive Entertainment.

It was an interesting Friday, last May 8th. For many who are into Hollywood and everything that is connected to it, they were able to get to know more about the whole deal. This was the event Transforming Hollywood 6: Alternative Realities, World Building and Immersive Entertainment and it was put together by the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Aside from that, they were also helped out by the USC School of Cinematic Arts as well as the USC Annenberg School of Communication. It happened at the James Bridges Theater in the University of California Los Angeles and started at nine in the morning and ended at half past nine in the evening.

To get there, some participants took the liberty of taking a Hollywoodcab, Hollywood taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxi, or a Santamonica taxicab as they did not know the exact location of the venue. Some found good drivers who easily took them there while others had to ask around for directions. However, there were those who chose to book a Hollywood taxi, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxicab, Santamonica taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, or a Hollywoodcab from LAYellowCab. LA Yellow Cab has been one of the top taxi, cab, and taxicab companies which know how to properly take care of its customers and bring them to their destination safe, sound, and secure. They have professional taxi, taxicab, and cab drivers who driver pretty well.

For the organizers of the Transforming Hollywood 6: Alternative Realities, World Building and Immersive Entertainment, it is all about looking into how the public just does not seem to get enough of storytelling. Storytelling has changed through the years. First, there were campfire stories and then came movies. Now, there are social media sites where stories and videos are shared through a huge portion of the population. There are a lot of changes happening in the world of storytelling and in the world of sharing stories to people.

Last year, two of the largest websites have actually took the leap and invested in a game that provided users alternative realities. Facebook actually chose to shell out $2 billion so that they would be able to get Oculus Rift. Oculus is actually an invention of Palmer Luckey and it is a hardware company that provides virtual reality. As for Google, it actually took to owning Magic Leap, a start up that actually provided augmented reality.

With such changes in how people look for entertainment and storytelling, the organizers actually made sure that such changes were discussed and were given the proper focus. They were provided insights as with regards to how the industry would be changing and how people in the industry can change alongside with it. It was a really interesting event and a whole lot of lively discussions on these exciting things happening and how Hollywood is actually going to change as well. The future is quite bright with all the possibilities and that people are going to be amazed at how things are transforming quite fast.

2015 Run For Hope: 5K Run/Walk & In-Memory Walk

Last Sunday, April 26th, quite a throng of people were seen stretching and warming up. They were getting ready for the event that was supporting all those who needed hope or once needed to hope. This was the event organized by Our House. This was the 2015 Run For Hope: 5K Run/Walk & In-Memory Walk.

Run For Hope is held annually. It has been put together so as to actually be a day where people would be able to share any love, loss, or grief that they may have experienced. The community joining the whole deal should be able to connect with those who feel the same way and to actually have a renewed sense of hope that can be quite difficult to come by especially when feeling really down.

There have been quite a huge turnout for this event. Those who had no idea where to go actually booked a taxi, cab, or taxicab with LAYellowCab. Though they can easily hail a Hollywoodcab, Hollywood taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxi, or Santamonica taxicab on the street, most participants chose LA Yellow Cab because they can be sure that whatever Santamonica taxicab, Santamonica taxi, Santamonica cab, Hollywoodtaxicab, Hollywood taxi, or Hollywoodcab that would be sent their way by this taxi, cab, and taxicab company would be reliable and would be safe to ride in.

The event started at 7:30 in the morning as a in-memory walk that was meant for adults only. It was designed to actually include only the grown ups so as to give honor and memory to people in their lives who have passed on. At nine in the morning, the 5K run and walk as well as family fun run started. Here, anybody who was interested can participate. Plus, it did not matter what age you are. As long as you would like to join, you can. For those who wanted to be part of the event but did not want to run or walk, from 8:30 am until noon, the Kid Zone + Festival happened. Those who joined got a shirt that was personalized. They can provide a photo of someone important in their lives and that photo was printed at the back of the shirt.

Having hope is quite important especially if you are still in the grieving process. Keep in mind that hope is actually a very positive emotion. Grief is not. Grief can really overcome you and can really take over your whole love. The presence of hope is like a spark. If you nurture it, it can become a flame that can change your outlook in life. Adding the whole event of running and walking and mingling with other people can help spark that hope.

With the huge turnout this year, it just reflects just how many people need to find hope in a place where there are plenty of people and yet could not connect with anyone. It also reflects just how many people are willing to help out reinforce positive emotions in people who may have gone sour.
