The Wizard of Oz is a 1939 American melodious fictional film created by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the year 1939. It is the most renowned and commercially successful version that was derived from the 1900 novel named The Wonderful Wizard of Oz which was written by L. Frank Baum. The film plays Judy Garland; Terry the dog, billed as Toto; Frank Morgan, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley, Margaret Hamilton, Billie Burke, Ray Bolger, with Charley Grape win & Clara Blandick & Pat Walshe as the head of the flying monkeys along with the Singer Midgets as the Munchkins.

Important for its use of Technicolor, imaginary storytelling, melodic score and uncommon characters, with each passing year it has become one of the best-known movies and a part of American common culture. It was box office displeasure during its early release, making only $3,017,000 on a $2,777,000 budget, in spite of getting mainly constructive reviews. The movie was MGM's most exclusive production at that time, and could not earn much of the studio's investment until successive re-releases. It was chosen for 6 Academy Awards, which comprised of the Best Picture Award. It managed to win the Award in two other groups including Best Original Song for "Over the Rainbow". The Venice Chamber of Commerce feels proud to announce the Fitness Fridays commencing from 7^th of August 2015 to 28^th of August 2015 at Penmar Park, i.e. in the coming week. Give your summer a great start! Boost your day, take hold of a mat and towel, and join us for the Fitness Fridays. This is going to be an 8-week sequence which completely aims to target the fitness of the participants at every level, thereby encouraging them to work out in the afternoons. The members of the Chambers will be assembling at 12:00 P.M till 01:00 P.M at the corner of the Rose and Penmar Avenue. Each assembly will be followed by a one hour exercise session which will be steered by the personal trainers, the yoga experts and other health and fitness specialists.
