Well, it was later on April 27, 1991 when Tau Beta Omega was actually chartered. You would be surprise to know that initially the chartering included of a gracefulceremony which was essentially led by Billie J. Barrett (who is the Far Western Regional Director) at the Marina Hotel in Marina Del Rey. It was later followed by a magnificent luncheon attended by associates, friends & family.It was during 1^st year that the members of this group collectively came together in fellowship at various fundraisers and activities. It was later that this community service activities were extended and it mostly comprised of a women’s shelter in South Central Los Angeles, the annual Science Fair at Flournoy Elementary School, graduate students in Los Angeles and financial & in-kind contributions to The Sunshine Mission.

Surprisingly, one of the utmost benefits of their chapter is its size since each person is a valued individual & hence, all contributions are indisputably appreciated.
